The Millington TARC Rocketry Team, the Flyin' Aces, has qualified for the TARC National Flyoff Competition in Manassas, Virginia on May 14th.
The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC) is the world’s largest rocket contest with nearly 5,000 students nationwide competing each year. The contest gives middle and high school students the opportunity to design, build and launch model rockets and hands-on experience solving engineering problems.
The Flyin' Aces was the only team in the state to qualify for nationals as well as earning a spot in the top 100 of all teams in the nation to qualify! They will travel to Manassas, Virginai for the chance to win the national championship for their rockets!
