The Millington robotics team, Redneck Robotics, will be competing in the FIRST Robotics state championships this weekend on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University.
The team number is 9207. They placed 5th in their alliance at their first district competition at Kettering University. Redneck Robotics then placed 2nd in their alliance at their second district competition at Wayne State University. The team received the Rookie All-Star Award and Rookie Inspiration Award at the district events. These awards qualified the team to interview for the same awards at the state level. Gary, the team's robot, will be competing against 160 other robots at the state championships.
