With the new school year about a month away, Millington Community Schools has hired a few new staff members. In order to get to know them better, we asked them a few questions and will post the answers here every week. Our first spotlight will be on our new 4th-grade teacher - Mackenzie Miller.
Mackenzie graduated from Frankenmuth High School. After high school, she attended college at Northern Michigan University which is located in Marquette.
Mackenzie is the oldest daughter of Scott and Karen Miller. Her parents and two younger sisters enjoy exploring the world together and also enjoy visiting each other. Mackenzie has a spoiled dog, Dolly Princess. Dolly's favorite thing is pup cups. Mackenzie's hidden talent is making iced coffee and chocolate disappear.
When asked what she thinks the best thing will be about working at Millington Community Schools, Mackenzie replied, "I feel the best thing will be all the support received from the community and the opportunity to meet new people."
