Due to a power outage St. Paul Lutheran School will be closed on Wednesday, August 31. Millington Community Schools will be open as usual.

Mr. Steve Bouvy, Superintendent of Millington Community Schools, accepted a $1,500 check on behalf of Mrs. Kayla Flintoft and the Millington Physics Club. The grant was awarded through the Future Youth Involvement Fund coordinated by the Tuscola County Community Foundation (TCCF). The monies will be used to replace outdated computers and software for rocket building. John Hunter, Executive Director of the TCCF, is pictured presenting the grant.

Congratulations to the Millington TARC team of Max Wood, Cooper Gohsman, Logan Watkins, and Brooke DuRussel for finishing 14th in the nation at The American Rocketry Challenge.

Mrs. Dantinne's Cardinal Pride class painted ceiling tiles for the McLaren Flint Bariatric Clinic. This is the second time this class has had a chance to do this. According to McLaren staff, the patients comment on the tiles on a daily basis.

There will be a mock drunk driving accident in the Junior/Senior High School parking lot on Friday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m.
