Millington Community Schools and St. Paul Lutheran School will be closed on Friday, March 22, 2024. Please note that St. Paul’s daycare and latchkey will remain open. Stay safe and have a fantastic spring break!
On Wednesday, March 20, the Headstart/GRSP programs at Kirk Elementary will have an assembly of emergency personnel and vehicles in the morning. This event will be based on weather and the availability of personnel.

Job Title: ECSE Paraprofessional
Location: Kirk, Millington Community Schools
Hours: 29-36 hours per week
Millington Community Schools is seeking a dedicated ECSE Paraprofessional to join our team at Kirk. The successful candidate will provide support to students with exceptional needs, working closely with teachers and staff to ensure each student receives the best possible education and support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to students with exceptional needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist with classroom activities, including preparing materials and facilitating learning
- Supervise students to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Experience working with students with exceptional needs preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
